Founded in 2026 by two best friends who work in education, Senda was born from a shared love of travel and a knack for planning trips people actually enjoy. Our tagline,“Explore the Unexpected,” reflects our belief that the most memorable parts of travel aren’t always on the checklist. We design trips that go beyond the obvious—mixing must-see destinations with hidden gems, local experiences, and moments of spontaneity that make each journey feel personal and unforgettable. We specialize in personalized travel experiences that balance structure with flexibility, making travel feel exciting—not overwhelming. Every itinerary is designed with care, real-world experience, and your unique travel style in mind.
Meet the Founders
Maddie
Hi, I’m Maddie! I'm a Co-founder and travel itinerary planner for Senda. Growing up, my family spent summers on road trips exploring national parks across the U.S., which sparked my appreciation for adventure and meaningful experiences. The desire to explore was passed down to me from my family and is something I intend to continue. My first trip out of the country was to Costa Rica, and that’s where everything clicked — I fell in love with the culture, the people, and the vibrancy of Latin America.
Now, in my late 20s, I am forever chasing warm weather and my next new travel experience. Latin America holds a special place in my heart, and Mexico is my favorite country in the world. I’m continually working to grow my fluency in Spanish so I can connect more deeply with the culture that I've fallen in love with. When I'm not traveling, I'm spending time with my family, working as a school psychologist and exploring my hometown with my friends.
For me, travel evokes feelings of curiosity, growth, and connection to something much greater than myself. I believe travel should be intentional, authentic, and personal — not just checking places off a list, but creating experiences you carry with you long after you get home.

Hi, I'm Leigha! I’m a Co-Founder and Travel Itinerary Planner behind Senda. I’ve always felt most like myself while traveling. My love for exploring began in high school when I traveled to Germany and stayed with a host family, an experience that opened my eyes to the power of cultural connection and meaningful travel.
Since then, I’ve built my life around seeking experiences that challenge me, connect me, and push me outside my comfort zone. My hobbies include living out of a backpack and browsing Google Flights for the next adventure.
To me, travel is about saying yes, yes to new people, new cultures, and new experiences. Whether that’s spending four days riding on the back of a motorbike through Vietnam or hiking an active volcano in Guatemala, I believe the most meaningful moments happen when you fully immerse yourself.
I love documenting my travels through photos and video to inspire others who crave the same lifestyle. Through Senda, my goal is to show that intentional, experience-driven travel is possible — and to help you create adventures that feel personal, purposeful, and unforgettable.
